Brian Ellis, P. Eng.
President Brian has over 47 years of experience in the engineering consulting business. Over the course of his remarkable career, he has worked as a quantities surveyor, project engineer, dive inspector, project manager, division manager and office manager on projects all over the world. Brian established ELLIS Engineering Inc. in 1993, and he is a Designated Consulting Engineer in the province of Ontario. Brian holds a private pilots licence and is also a registered UAV pilot. Brian graduated from Aston University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in 1977. |

Duane VanGeest, P. Eng.
Chief Executive Officer, Project Director, Senior Project Manager Duane has worked with ELLIS Engineering Inc. since 2006. He specializes in project management and leadership within our team. Duane has worked closely with many Ontario municipalities to manage their structural assets over time, proposing innovative and cost-saving design solutions. He has extensive experience with structure replacement and rehabilitation design, construction and inspection. Duane graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Civil Engineering with structural and geotechnical engineering option and Co-Op in 2006. |

Arih Struger-Kalkman, P. Eng., M. Eng.
Chief Operating Officer, Project Director, Senior Project Manager Arih has worked with ELLIS Engineering Inc. since 2008. He specializes in project management, structural design, OSIM inspections and contract administration. Arih has extensive experience preparing financial analyses for structure rehabilitation or replacement. Arih graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Civil Engineering with Honours in 2006, and a Masters of Engineering Degree in 2009. |

Project Coordinator Jordan has worked as an Engineering Technologist with ELLIS Engineering Inc. since 2013. He specializes in drafting, contract administration, construction site inspection, OSIM structure inspections and surveying. Jordan graduated from Niagara College with an advanced diploma in Construction Engineering Technology - Architecture in 2013. |

Project Manager Darryl has worked with ELLIS Engineering Inc. since 2014. He specializes in structural design, analysis and modelling. He also has extensive experience completing OSIM inspections, coordinating projects and providing contract administration and site inspection services during the construction phase of projects. Darryl graduated with distinction from Waterloo University with a Bachelor of Applied Science Honours Degree in Civil Engineering with Co-Op in 2017. |

Emma has extensive experience as a GIS Analyst and specializes in OSIM inspections, site inspection, GIS mapping and Microsoft Access database design. Emma is also a registered UAV pilot. |

Brittany Ellis Blanchard
Administrator Brittany is responsible for office management at ELLIS Engineering Inc. She writes proposals and provides administrative support to our project teams. As a Registered Nurse, Brittany is also our health and safety officer. |

Assistant to the Administrator Maris has supported the firms operations and client relations since incorporation in 1993. Maris is currently responsible for catering and event planning. |

Ethan Girard
Technical Assistant Ethan began with ELLIS Engineering Inc. as a Co-Op Student and returned to the team at ELLIS after having completed his Bachelor's Degree of Engineering Science in Civil Engineering from Western University. Under project manager supervision and together with our team at ELLIS, Ethan has completed structure inspections, construction site inspection, drafting, and assisted with structural analysis and structural designs. |

Louie Revalde
Technical Assistant Louie recently completed his diploma in Civil Engineering Technology through Niagara College. He has extensive international experience in heavy civil construction, providing site inspection and contract administration services in the Philippines. Louie graduated from the Cebu Institute of Technology University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Under project manager supervision and together with our team at ELLIS, Louie has completed residential development construction site inspection and assisted with report preparation and developing contract specifications. |

Technical Assistant Lucas recently completed his degree in Civil Engineering at McMaster University. Technical Assistant Mia recently graduated from Niagara College with a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology. She assists with biennial structure inspections for several Niagara municipalities. Under project manager supervision and together with our team at ELLIS, Mia is also providing site inspection services for ongoing construction projects, and prepares technical reports. |
