Client: Rankin Construction Inc. and MTO ELLIS Engineering Inc. was presented with the Consulting Engineers of Ontario, Niagara Chapter, Engineering Award of Merit on behalf of Rankin Construction Inc. for work done on the Modular Steel Jacking Towers for QEW/HWY 420 Interchange Bridge Rehabilitations with Rankin Construction Inc. and the MTO. Our innovative design allowed for efficient rehabilitation of the QEW/420 Interchange Bridge substructure. |
2015 OCEA Willis Chipman AwardAward: The Willis Chipman Award
Client: Rankin Construction Inc. and the Niagara Parks Commission ELLIS Engineering Inc. was presented with the prestigious Willis Chipman Award by the Consulting Engineers of Ontario. This award was presented to us in recognition of our work on the Canadian Niagara Power Forebay Bridge Reconstruction project with Rankin Construction Inc. The Niagara Parks commission retained ELLIS to complete an innovative design for a new bridge while maintaining the aesthetics and original stone masonry of the existing structure. The Willis Chipman Award is the top honour presented at the Ontario Consulting Engineering Awards for the project that best demonstrates consulting engineers' contributions to the social, economic, and environmental well-being of Ontario. |
